Been here to pick up my packages several times. The lady (Leslie/Lisa? sorry forgot her name) is one of the nicest person I've met. Great customer service.

Wouldn’t even bother to look up my phone number on their system when my apartments buzzer system was not working. Did not read the large note outside on buzzer with my phone number to call, so I assume the driver didn’t even leave the vehicle to try delivery. May as well not even bother attempting delivery with DHL and just waste as little if your own time waiting at home for delivery and just go pick it your package at the DHL center because they not spend 10 seconds trying to get the delivery to you and the drivers appear to have no recourse from the company for not attempting delivery. USE UPS OR CANADA POST if you actually want to receive you package at home and not the delivery center downtown or at Richmond!

Worst service. Order was coming from out of country, so I made a DHL account to change delivery from my apartment to a pickup. Was unable to do so after logging in, so I called on Monday before the item had cleared customs. DHL said it will be available for pick-up once it clears. Tuesday comes, they attempt to deliver the package to my apartment with the driver calling from cell and apartment buzzer. I told him that it was ordered for pick-up, but halfway through explaining he hung up. The item was sent back to the airport for holding in which I had to call multiple times to determine the status of the order. Wednesday comes and a representative, who was supposed to call in the morning does not do so. I have to call to initiate the conversation, which they do not pick up. Then they email instead of calling at the said time.They say they will be in contact once confirmation is received that the package will be sent to the service delivery point. This does not happen, so I call to confirm status of package. The only reason why I knew to go pick up the package was due to me checking the tracking number; customer service representative stated they would confirm status of package, which they never did. Worst service = 0 Stars.

Same with other reviewers, hope I can give 0 star to the whole company. Personally I would never use DHL myself ever again. Fedex and canada post are much better. I had my package scheduled for delivery yesterday, I selected the option leaving it with the concierge and also I was home all day long. And got a message later in the day: delivery failed, no one is home. First off, I live in a condo, I didnt provide the buzz code as DHL never warned me they need that and I had no problem getting all my other packages from all other companies so I didnt know thats necessary. Second, our concierge is perfect, they are on duty 24 hours, and they sit almost right beside the condo entrance. I never imagine they would see a DHL delivery driver at the door and not letting in. Cuz all drivers from other companies can get in okay. After I got a message “no one is home” without anyone even attempted to call me during the whole day. I called their customer service. The lady basically said it was buzz code missing so they cant deliver, I never called them to ask for the driver to call me so thats why the driver didnt call. ???seriously??? Thats the story?? With all the fancy system they have such as sending auto-msges etc., they cannot just simply warn a customer if buzz code not provided, then they wont even attempt to deliver(i suppose they didnt, as there is no way the concierge not letting them but other companies in). Even after the failure due to missing of buzz code, they would not call you or email you tho they have all the contact information of you. After all these, they would still choose to leave a message “no one is home” rather than “didint have buzz code”. The lady never said “apologize for the inconvenience”, she kept repeating that I could have provided a buzz code or call them to ask the driver to call me. Except my only way to learn these information was to call them first beforehand or experience it. Throughout the whole email and messages, I never find anywhere listing their phone number. I would not have called and found out these if they not listing online the next delivery will be 4 days later. I would just wait at home until they deliver and fail again saying im not home.

I truly wish that I could give this entire company a 0 star review. I was originally supposed to receive a package on Wednesday. it missed the plane so the delivery was scheduled for Thursday. I requested time off work and waited all Thursday...no sign of delivery. the tracking gets updated to "Attempted delivery, receiver not home." frustrated, I called and they said they would try to deliver later in the day. an hour later I receive a text that I should expect a delivery. no delivery. package status updated to "shipment on hold". so I decide to redirect package to DHL Howe St location as to not miss any more work. it's Saturday and I receive a text/ validate the tracking online that it's ready for pickup from the service point. I get to the service point and the package is actually in Richmond and won't be transferred until Monday. Tell me, what type of Express service is this? Why bother updating me that it's ready when it clearly is not? Garbage company.
