Shipped a box full of items from my deceased parents place in Vernon to Toronto. The ship weight of the box was 25lbs. It was sent June 12, 2017. When I picked it up in Toronto, I thought it felt lighter than it had when I had carried it into the store in Vernon. When I finally could bring myself to open the box, I discovered that some items were missing. As a result, the rest of the contents, which had been closely packed together, had shifted, including some heavy pieces, causing a beloved coffee cup to have its handle smashed. The bubble wrap around it kept the glass shards from getting into the rest of the box, fortunately, but the cup is irreplaceable. As are the stolen items. I wish I had taken a picture of what I was shipping, but when you are grieving you don't think about people stealing from your dead parents. So if anyone ships from this location, be sure to have a complete inventory, supported by pictures, of the contents. I wish I had had the presence of mind to do so when I was packing my box.
