We had a pallet delivered one day. The pallet was a little on the heavier side, but normal sized and was obviously able to be loaded correctly on to the 5 ton with a pallet jack. The driver, a younger tall skinny fellow asked our guy to jump up into the truck and help him get the pallet from the middle of the truck to the back. Our guy told him that hes not allowed to jump up into ANY trucking companies truck under any circumstances in case of any accident to our employees or their driver. This driver began to get some serious attitude at our guys refusal. He then walked over to me and started complaining at me about our employee, when I made it clear it was a normal policy and that our guy was in the right, he then said "I guess you guys won't be getting your deliveries in the future if they're heavy" then made his way up to the managers office and did not fair any better. Moral of the story, we're your customer, if we request you and trust you with our freight, it your job to provide the proper vehicle for transportation, flat deck maybe if its too heavy to maneuver in a 5 ton? Also this guy is out their running his mouth and representing your company.
