Passport Office

I needed an emergency passport and the staff here made it happen! I really pushed the limits of time restrictions and was met with the best service I could have expected. Thanks to the entire team, I really really appreciate the staff here. Be nice and get nice service, seems easy enough!

i’d give it -5 stars if i could. this place is seriously a JOKE. i get in there, wait 20 minutes in the line, i get my number and sit down to wait for my turn. TWO HOURS later, the main guy at front desk asks if i still haven’t been served (obviously not). THEN i get sent to an agent finally, only to have 5 minutes wasted of the woman telling me i must’ve missed my number. they were rude, impolite, and definitely need training on customer service. i had people that came in long after me going before me. i mean i finally got it done, but after all that hassle i hope i never have to go there again. :( sucks that people get treated that way...

The best is to go there before it's open or close to 8:30AM anyways, I got there at 8:40AM, finished and got out at 9AM. I did the exact same thing at ICBC downtown and the whole process also just took 20 mins. So I think when it comes to government stuff, the key is be there first thing in the morning. My experience at this passport office was pleasant, the agents were helpful and efficient at doing their jobs.

The people that work here are so unhappy and unpleasant. You're essentially working in customer service so some training in how to be helpful and friendly to people would be lovely. Especially when you're taking hours out of you day to stand in line. The young man helping me was tossing around my birth certificate and driver's licence like it was a piece of recycling. Rude all around. I understand it's not the most pleasant place to work and the people working there are probably making low income but seriously I get better customer service at mcdonalds. Lighten up!!!

It took 2 hours from the moment I walked in the door to get to an agent. At one point a staff member said he had to go to a meeting and there would be no one desks for a few minutes until others came from lunch. 40+ people waiting and no one at a desk??? Absolutely unacceptable. They also put expedited requests before regular requests in the queue so someone who comes in after you who needs their passport faster gets to go to an agent first. As if waiting for their actual spot in line will be the difference between making a flight or not. I am so glad I dont have to go back for 10 years.
