Horrible experience + poor customer service.
EDIT: A rundown of what happened
1. Paid MMC for permanent residency application delivery. Due to changes in the application cycle, it was no longer feasible. That was okay. It was unexpected and no one's fault.
2. I checked on the MMC website and the notification promised to begin the refund process automatically within the next few days.
3. At the beginning of January, my refund is still not here. I gave them a month and still nothing.
4. Called MMC and was greeted by a rude service rep, who told me to be patient and that they had other customers too. That felt like a huge slap to the face. I did not feel they appreciated me as a customer. Gave me another date to wait by.
5. The date has passed and I got frustrated. It's been almost 3 months at that moment in time. Because I paid with Paypal, I managed to open a dispute.
6. MMC was low enough to pretend that the services I paid for was delivered, and slowed the dispute process.
7. Thankfully, Paypal judged the situation in my favour and I got my money back after 3 months.
In conclusion, it was a shame that the service I paid for ultimately could not be delivered. I do not blame anyone for that, but the ensuing customer service I received after taught me to never deal with them again.
