Of all of the major courier companies that exist Purolator has always been my least favorite for many reasons mostly being that their customer service has always been terrible. Whenever you have to deal with someone on the phone or in person it's like you're ruining their day because you have a question regarding your delivery or parcel. Recently I decided to buy my wife an expensive hair dryer sold by Dyson. It was a few days before the Canada Day weekend and we have plans to go away and she would li e to have it for the trip and when I realized it was going to be delivered on the Friday of the long weekend I had booked my morning off from work and my wife was going to swap with me in the afternoon to make sure one of us was home to get the delivery. At around 1:30 in the afternoon I had refreshed my tracking and had noticed at just after noon they had attempted delivery and no one was home but I was home waiting patiently in my living room for them to show up. I go outside and noticed someone has stuffed a failed to deliver notice in our mailbox and that was it he never even stuck it to my door it was just stuck in the mailbox. From now on when I know something is going to be delivered I'm going to try and make sure Purolator has nothing to do with a delivery. When I pay to have something delivered I would prefer it be delivered not waste my time on another day where I have to organize to go and actually pick up the item if I wanted to do that in the first place I would have actually went into a store and grabbed the item. When we called to talk to Purolator to at least see if we could pick it up that day they're normal rude service was you cannot come until Tuesday July 3rd to pick up your parcel so not only do we miss having it for the long weekend I now had to wait for more days to get the item. Then on that day before I had time after work to go they sent me a message telling me I only had two more days to pick it up or they were going to send the item back this is what you are dealing with when you deal with the worst courier company that can exist. Please do yourself a favor if in any way you need to send a package or have one sent and you have any other option other than Purolator choose it every time.

I'm disappointed recently with Purolator. we had a very expensive package shipped to the house and we made sure we were home when they dropped it off. Our doorbell does not work but apparently Purolator staff chose not to knock. It's a little bit hard to understand how a company that drops off packages door to door for a living doesn't know how to knock on a door. Anyways we will now have to go and pick up the package that we paid to have delivered. Lazy? Definitely irresponsible. When I spoke with staff over the phone I asked what I could have done differently to have avoided this. She told me I should put a sign on my front door. Update: I see a response here from Vincent at Purolator. To me it appears to be a real copy and paste job. Does he want everyone here to think Purolator actually cares? Why would I email him the tracking number of a package I have already picked up myself? The deed and the damage are done. What is Purolator going to do for me now? Pft. Disgusting. If they really did care they would teach their drivers how to politely knock on a door and actually deliver a package. They would raise their standards of customer service. There's enough competition for me to avoid this method of delivery again and that's exactly what I plan to do.

Excellent customer service Hard working employees dedicated to meeting customer needs. Thank you! I had an order that was left on my door to be ready after the long weekend. I called and inquired if it was possible to be picked up today. Sure enough it was ready 15 minutes before they closed for the day. Once again thank you, hard working people of Purolator.

Last Friday item arrived, online status was shown as " Unable to deliver - Heavyweight. Customer will be contacted to arrange delivery. ". OK, then, I called Purolator, gave them my phone number. Purolator said someone will contact me to arrange delivery. No one called. Then Purolator delivered the package the next Monday without calling me. Leave a notice for pickup but it could not fit to my car. Then I called the Purolator again to arrange another delivery (call centre cannot arrange, has to let the local depot call me). This time, I asked the lady from the local depot "can it be guaranteed to deliver on the day I picked?" The lady told me during the call since it is a scheduled delivery, delivery will be guaranteed on the scheduled day. Because of this re-delivery, I took a vacation day from work. Then, today, which is the SCHEDULED re-delivery day, I found the online status is still not shown as " On vehicle for delivery ". Called them back. A lady said cannot find the morning scan and most likely cannot be delivered today. Updates: manager is really helpful. A manager helped me confirmed that the package is on the vehicle. It is just the online status is not changed.

Wow the girl who answered the phone uninterested and annoyed by the whole conversation All I asked was what is the phone number to there store on barton as I couldn’t find it She then proceeded to act like I was bothering her for making her do something Then said “thanks” in the most annoying voice I have ever heard as she hung up Look I have answered phone for companies did it for years you never make it seem like answering someone’s questions or concerns is annoying you. Don’t act uninterested You need to make that customer feel like their question or concerns are the only thing that matters and you wouldn’t be able to do anything else until they are satisfied with the help they received Not what I got here she clearly doesn’t want to do this job and it’s very apparent
