I've never experienced worse delivery in my life. I needed to purchase goods located in Milton that wouldn't fit in my car (a Mini) and elected to have them shipped instead of renting a car and picking them up myself as the cost would be equal. I was given the option of using four shipping vendors and engaged UPS due the the reliability of a global brand and great past experience with their service in New York. As I had done in New York, I provided special delivery instruction with my order. UPS accepted my order and special instruction and confirmed next day delivery. The following day I waited for delivery and received nothing. Thus I contacted UPS to determine the issue and was advised that they could not accept my special instruction. Why they did not notify me at point of order or thereafter is unknown to me, instead they placed the onus on my to determine why they failed to deliver after accepting my payment. They told me I would need to pick up my goods at the Concord warehouse, a request indicated was ridiculous as I would have been better off renting a car and driving to Milton in the first place. They then indicated I could change the delivery address. So I changed the delivery address and was ensured I would receive my goods the next day as long as I was onsite to receive. Then next day, I phoned in the morning and had my delivery confirmed. I waited all day and received nothing. I called back and asked what the issue was and was told that it takes 48 hours to process an address change request and that I would receive the good the next day. So I took another day out of office to receive the goods. In the morning I again called to confirm delivery and was told my packages would be delivered. When only 3/4 were delivered I again called UPS to ask where my final package was. They told me that the address change meant it would mean it would take it another day to be delivered. I'm now forced to sit at home out of office for four days to receive a package I paid for next day delivery on. WHy on earht did I request UPS? I would have been far better off driving and buying myself. I notified UPS CSR that I should not have to pay for next day delivery as this service was not provided and was told I would not be provided any refund. I will never use UPS again, will slander the company at every opportunity and will use every ounce of influence I have to drive people away from this company. I will be in touch with the better business bureau, I will contact marketplace watch dogs, I will even attempt to waste your time in small claims court. You run a horrible company and should not be in business.
