An expensive service that is manned by unprofessional and uncouth delivery personell. During last delivery, the guy nearly broke my apartment door with his loud banging ....twice in quick succession! When I asked him the reason for his 'aggression', he told me that his instructions were to knock twice as hard as possible and then walk away if there was no response! There is no consideration at all for the occupants......someone could be old, handicapped, pregnant, hard of hearing, stuck in a far corner of the home or basement......or in the washroom or saying prayers. Why the hell would DHL not call ahead to inform of an impending delivery. Most if not ALL delivery companies offer a time frame during which the delivery would be effected. We have a family member at home who is seriously ill and cannot be left unattended. Therefore we are home 24/7 even when the patient is in hospital. We are a senior citizen couple, both with mobility challenges. To sum it up, DHL DELIVERY IS A NEEDLESS AND AN EXPENSIVE PAIN. The delivery person is a born liar......as he never attempted to deliver a very sensitive package like he claims to! It's time to either re-train ALL delivery staff as well as the Customer Service manager and his department or for DHL to shut down its operations.
