Purolator

Had to ship equipment back to former employer. Inconvenient because of the distance from my home to their depot. Otherwise, no problems with service, staff friendliness or efficiency.

This is the only Purolator warehouse in the vicinity which is very inconvenient if you are not home in the delivery hours and you get a notice card to pick up the item. Also, this location is not open on weekends, so you must pick up your items during the week between 8am-7pm. Purolator should adopted a better delivery system, such as FedEx, where they leave you a Failed to Deliver notice card which details that they will be be back the next day to try again, and to check/sign the card if you want them to leave the package if you know you won't be home. It's frustrating to drive over 20 km to the only Purlator location in the Niagara Region for an item. The staff at this location is however pleasant.

Don't like the fact there is no longer a telephone number to reach them at or the customer service provided but you cannot beat the express shipping times!

Apparently a delivery attempt was made to my apartment in Downtown St. Catharines; there's no evidence of this on the buzzer or call logs, but apparently they did. Then they took the package to another city, at this location, without contacting me and notifying me that the package was being held. I have to drive 15 minutes to another city to pick up a package. Customer service rep was helpful in requesting another delivery attempt, but I have zero confidence in this location's competency.

Counter lady was helpful & explained everything to me in detail. Appreciate the assistance.
