Dynamex - Ottawa

I ordered from amazon and the carrier came up as Dynamex. I never heard of them and after googling them, I got worried- like genuinely scared of what was going to happen to my package. I thought for sure the it would be delivered to the wrong address, or delivered at 9pm when the office was closed or left outside where anyone could pick it up. Fortunately, it arrived without any problems. I know the reviews are overwhelming negative and maybe this was an oddity but I hope it means that they are starting to sort their business out.

Never rung the door once and called me saying its been multiple days he came and we weren't there except I work from home so he is lying.

Why does Air Canada use this company? My luggage was to have been delivered after clearance in Ottawa - before 10:00 pm. It was not! And I wasted the whole afternoon/evening waiting. Called Air Canada - a call centre in India - and they could not get hold of Dynamex. I found another number online, called & did manage to find a human, who had no idea when the luggage would be delivered - some time tomorrow. I suggested that I would call & pick up the luggage myself. So, am to call by 9:00 am & arrange this. Why am I not surprised that Air Canada chooses an inefficient, unprofessional company?

Air Canada pickup ... Pickup ordered at 9 am ... STILL not picked up at YOW at 6 PM and Air Canada central baggage folks utterly useless. Like many I've waited all day for a phone call that hasn't come! This won't let me give 0 stars!

They were supposed to deliver my luggage for air Canada. The first guy was courteous and polite but the timing didn't work for me. The next day, their person on the phone was using a borderline rude tone, and they couldn't get a hold of the driver. Then the next day the driver called with another inconvenient time for me. So I figured I'd ask for more options, he didn't care to help me. So now I'm going to pick up my own luggage so I don't have to deal with them. Air Canada should drop them as a delivery service. Maybe use Uber or something.
