The UPS Store #241

I went to the store to pickup the package, the guy refused to give me the package. I gave him the government ID with my full address on it. The only requirement to pick up the package is only signature and proof of address. I called UPS customer service , they confirmed that but the guy refused t give me the package. He said that i have to wait until UPS returns it and the sender has to put my name on it. I called the sender , the only thing he requires is the signature only. I asked him his name because he does not have a name or employee ID because he explained the UPS rules in his way, he said that the UPS customer service agent gave me the wrong information, i verified on line with tracking number the only thing the sender requested is signature. He does not even what other UPS option even UPS services.He refused to give me his name and he tried to intimidate me.

This store is horrible. I tried to return boots I had ordered by using the UPS return label the store provided. When i went in to drop the package off I asked if I needed anything like a tracking number and the guy said the package was just good to go. Two months later and my return has still not been processed and refund not provided. Called the boot company and they said the warehouse did not receive anything. The package is lost and I have no freaking tracking number so I'm out $450. You figure UPS knows how to deliver packages...guess not. Tell everyone you know not to use this company and the UPS store on Rideau Street in Ottawa in particular.

I go to this store regularly to print/scan/fax documents. They're fast & helpful.

Sat around in the front of the house all day waiting for my delivery, what a waste of time. I called customer support, just to be told they attempted to deliver and no one was home. I sat in the front of the house staring out the window to my driveway the whole day!! They never came by. They never even left a notice, which is proof they've never been here. They weren't even honest about the incident - all they did was lie on the phone. For hells sake, UPS, discipline your lazy employees or find better ones.

Not helpful at all - went to another location instead
