I dropped off a very important personal identification document this morning around 9:30 in one of your UPS Store in St Catharines, Ontario, Canada. Because of its emergency and important, I selected the express service and double checked with the gentleman who worked in the store the delivery date. I was told it will be delivered on Thursday (June 28) for sure. He did not give me any tracking numbers at that time and said I would receive an email regarding all details including tracking numbers later on the same day. I did receive an email late afternoon but it shows the SERVICE/ CARRIER is DHL, rather than UPS. And because of that, the document will be delivered on FRIDAY (June 29), NOT THURSDAY!! My husband has to fly back to Canada on Friday with that identification. But Now, he may not be able to take the flight because UPS delayed my service!!!
I am so disappointed at this moment, and hope anyone can take care this case. I paid the service to UPS, not DHL. If I know UPS would transfer my package to DHL, I would rather contact DHL at the beginning and hand over my package to them directly. So that, we would not be so panic as right now and prey for the package can be delivered ASAP!!!!
I appreciate anyone from UPS can give me an explanation and also make sure the package will be delivered on June 28, not June 29!!
