I have tried yoga several times over the past 40 (!) or so years, but never really "got" it. About 3 years ago I decided to give it another try and Ruby Yoga with Amanda was my choice. Right from the first class I felt comfortable and eager to continue. In addition to being very warm and welcoming, Amanda shows  great concern and respect for our bodies. She pushes us to improve but is always mindful of any areas of our bodies that need special care. Improved balance, strength, and flexibility, as well as laughter and friendship, make me look forward to every class.

I strolled into Ruby yoga a few years ago, and I immediately felt at home and welcomed. I thought that being a guy, I would feel less than comfortable... however I quickly found that was not true. Gender is irrelevant in the studio. Amanda is a natural teacher, her style is perfect for me. The careful attention to detail and moving into each asana with depth and precision is exactly what I'm looking for. She teaches and speaks with a love and caring that earned my love from day one.

Leslie Bulmer’s power classes are my go-to at Ruby! Perfect combination of strength, grace and spirituality, along with Leslie’s sense of humour and grounding yet uplifting energy makes for very fulfilling practices. I look forward to them weekly

Amanda has created a comfortable and inviting yoga experience that isn't just contained to the studio. Ruby Yoga's Board Warrior Program is was one of the best things I've done for my body and soul. She focuses on alignment even when you're on the stand-up paddle board in the middle of the lake. I've been able to take that off the water and apply it to my practice in the yoga studio and it's been a huge benefit to my body on a daily basis.

Amanda Cooley is an exceptional instructor. Her connection to her students on both an intellectual, emotional and intuitive level is everything you hope to find in a teacher. Her knowledge of the body and natural ability to seamlessly cue you safely in and out of the asanas gives her students the confidence to explore themselves more deeply and playfully during classes. Amanda is the instructor you want guiding your yoga practice!
