Downward Dog Yoga Centre is the best yoga studio i have ever been to. The teachers are great! Ron Reid and Marla Meenakshi Joy are the best, experienced yoga teachers! And all the other teachers are great, too. The location is awesome! Do more yoga! Go to Downward Dog, Toronto!

Easily one of my favorite yoga studios in town. I've found the classes to be great for zenning out and growing my practice. The men's change rooms are a little small which is not uncommon for a lot of yoga studios. The main room for class is massive though! In level 2 classes it can really get cookin... I highly recommend this studio for those looking for a unique vibe and culture.

Love it when they play this soothing music during the glad. Place is cute. Worth the money. Sometimes it gets very packed. But consistently a good experience.

The calibre of yoga instructors at DWD are top notch. They really know how to teach and what they are teaching from the anatomy to philosophy. Each instructor seems to have at least one specialty area about which they are passionate. It is an established studio and the facility has not been updated to allow members ease of use of the change and bathroom during peak hours. Otherwise would have been 5 stars!

I recently began doing yoga more seriously, and have enjoyed every second of my time at Downward Dog. I began by taking the Yoga Basics Workshop with David in November of last year to gain a deeper understand of the basic motions and body positions necessary for the more advanced classes. Once completed, I immediately went into David’s Level 1 classes and was able to keep up quite well. Since then, I have been trying out new instructors and do not have a negative thing to say about any of the teachers I’ve practiced under. Each teacher offers a different style and focus during your practice, so I recommend experimenting and seeing which teacher(s) provides you with the correct physicality for your own personal needs. Personally, David and Katheryn have become my go to teachers for classes, but as I’ve said before, all the teachers at this studio are excellent and have an intimate knowledge of the practice. The studio also has a warm and friendly atmosphere, as you’re always greeted with a smile at the front desk and the teachers, or assistants, are always willing to answer any questions you may have. I love it at the studio, and will continue to practice here as long as I’m in Toronto.
