FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD!!!
My girlfriend Stephanie and her sister Tania signed up here in October 2019 with Robyn. Robyn gave them a promotion that cost over 300$ that included sessions with one of the personal trainers and nutritionist. When they came back the next day for their first session, they were told that none of the trainers were nutritionists (they took the package for the sole reason of the nutritionists because they wanted meal plans) when they went to speak to Robyn to find out why she said it was included, she went to hide in the back and refused to come out. They waited over 25 min for someone to cancel their membership, finally spoke to another employee who said that Tania could not be refunded because they were one minute into their session. Which in reality was bulls**t because they made them wait 25 min to see someone. Stephanie’s 300$ was refunded and the membership for both was supposedly cancelled.
Now it’s May 2020, Tania realized that good life, out of nowhere started taking payments from her account, they took 2 payments back to back within 48h, then another a week later, she called the bank to put a stop payment. Goodlife’s head office then called tania to find out why there was a stop payment, she explained to them everything that happened and received full refund after a week.
After Tania told Stephanie what happened, Stephanie decided to check her account to see if they started charging her too, to her surprise, they charged her every month since they had originally signed up in October 2019. When Stephanie called the good life she signed up at, she spoke to the manager Roy, who then told her that there was no proof that she canceled and he did not see a reason to refund her the months that were charged, the proof was the initial refund on the day after they signed up, plus she never, not once went there to work out because everything was supposedly canceled. This place is committing FRAUD! they get you to sign up, offering you things that they don’t even have, and then pretend to cancel you membership! We will be going to exploit this every way we can so that others don’t get screwed over by this FRAUDULENT company
UPDATE- good life head office is just as bad as this location, they respond saying that they’ll help, but didn’t to anything to rectify the situation!!! Good life is GARBAGE!!! Is this really how a company this big should operate?!?!
