Great little campground. We read online that most of the spots were closed down, but when we arrived, we found all of them to be open. The lake was beautiful and just a short walk/drive away. We woke up to some Big Horn sheep walking around along the paths. It was quite the sight! They were friendly and the rangers we're quick to attend to the situation. Make sure to get there early though for a good spot. The sites fill up fast!

Located about 1 hour south from the St. Mary Visitor entrance. Getting to Two Medicine Campground is half the adventure! Travel a well paved but narrow road up a winding mountain side with steep cliffs and no barriers. The drive alone will take your breath away. When you reach the campground, you will be staring at mountain peaks and incredible wilderness. This is the perfect place to getaway from it all. I have been to many campgrounds across North America and I have to say, this is the most spectacular campground I have seen. Flush toilets, potable water is available. There is also a camp store that sells food, ice cream, alcohol and souvenirs. You can also take cruise on the lake for about $13 USD each. On a side note, this is Bear country and the park rangers don't mess around! Do not leave your food out in the open unattended as it attracts bears. At night, all food must be kept in your vehicle or the food lockers on site. The Park Rangers will confiscate all of your food and cooking equipment and you will have to run around and flag one down so that you can get your stuff back. That and you will get an $80 fine, trust me I had to learn the hard way (thankfully I begged and pleaded and narrowly avoided the fine - phew)! Most nights there is a presentation put on by the Rangers. They invite local members of the Blackfoot tribe to share stories, songs and dance about how this area is sacred to their people. Many activities available such as hiking, boating, biking, bird watching, cruising or just loaf around and relax. All in all, this is officially my favorite place to camp. It is definitely a must see place.

Great place to camp with plenty of hiking around the lake to do with wildlife all around. Spend a day or two exploring around which includes Twin Falls behind the lake.

Great camp ground on the East side of Glacier National Park, with hiking trails to explore. This camp ground has a lake along with a river running along it's boundaries, for people to go fishing, or you can go canoeing, floating, or kayaking on the lake, what ever you choose to do, while camping there.
