Camp Notre Dame gave me some of the best memories I have from my childhood. The week of a camper is well rounded and full of a wide variety of fun, interesting, educational and useful activities...all taught with an emphasis on fun, kindness, inclusion and teamwork. I am 47 now, and my son is going for the first time, this week. The place is even more beautiful now...and the staff and volunteers are so friendly, warm and helpful. Being out at CND again was so nostalgic...the magic of that place is still in the air. It felt like being home again. If you are looking for a good summer camp, look no further...CND is your answer!

To any child, parent, etc. who is thinking of going to Camp Notre Dame, GIVE YOURSELF A GOOD, HARD SLAP IN THE FACE! This camp was one of the worst experience of my life. They NEVER tell you the time! When I went, they put me with kids all 3 or more years younger than me, I felt sick the very first night for those of you who have a weak stomach, it's CRAWLING with poison ivy, when you go camping out in the woods at night and make smores, they only give you 1 marshmallow, no chocolate and no graham crackers, and no replacement marshmallow if something happens to it, no one is allowed to tell scary stories at night as it might "scare the other kids" or "give them nightmares", it is ROASTING in the cabins at night, and finally, when you play games, there is never a winner. According to them "everyone is a winner at Camp Notre Dame!" Nothing like the good old camp experience that every kid thinks of. So kids, parents, etc., unless you want to have a very cruddy summer, if not the WORST summer of your life, DON'T GO TO CAMP NOTRE DAME!!!
