Friendly desk staff. Free access to ROAM bus service in the pouring rain was much appreciated. The Inns are located about 1,5 km from the centre; okay to walk but nice to have the bus as a backup plan. However, rooms are hot and stuffy. Balcony door is the only option for ventilation and causes a lot of noise from traffic. Floors are creaky and the carpets are old. They don’t look very clean. Walls are paper thin, so good luck sleeping at night with all the noises from the hallway. Beds are really small. You’ll get 2 double beds, but I’d rather have a proper sized Queen (or rather a King - being used to that as a European...) so my partner and I can fit comfortably into one bed. Bathroom is small and clean on the surface (just don’t look behind the toilet). Towels are a bit limited. Even though the shower is hot and has enough power, the bath doesn’t drain well so you’re up to your ankles in water.

Great hotel. A little dated but still nice. We didnt get a chance to check out the hot tub so will definitely need to come back for that. The staff was very nice and helpful. And the building was pretty clean.

The staff was so accommodating when United forgot to bring my suitcase! They let me stay until 1 and always told me updates about when it would arrive! The room was great too! I had a balcony where I could look at the beautiful mountains.

If you don’t mind a place that is outdated and cheap, then the Inns of Banff is your place. Despite being over $200 per night, the Inns are far cheaper than other hotels in the town. Being on a budget we elected to stay there for a couple days. Since we would be out hiking and exploring this hotel was basically a place to crash. Entering the suite, the first thing I noticed was the carpet which resembled a putting green. The floor also squeaked and groaned with every footstep. The furniture was very outdated. When I took a shower, there was water up to my ankles. The hotel didn't have enough towels as I had to request more. The walls are paper thin as I could hear everything. Parking spots can be difficult to find and the inn is not walking distance to the downtown core. The only plus albeit a fair one was the beds were decent. The next time I won't be a cheapskate and shell out a little more money.

It was my first time booking a hotel in Banff. We needed something last minute. The staff was friendly and the location was nice. The rooms were not cleaned properly and the washroom was the biggest disappointment. The carpets smelled like dog pee. The beds were clean and cozy. We had some food that needed to be refrigerated unfortunately there was no fridge. Early in the morning the noise of the construction woke us up. Later when I had to take shower the tubs were extremely dirty. Again great location and customer service but the rooms need a lot of improvement. Not coming to this location again.
