Having seen some of the reviews for this place, I was somewhat apprehensive about our one night stay but it was completely unfounded! The cabin was remarkably clean and I searched high and low for these apparently troublesome cobwebs but to no avail. Yes, the bathroom is small but seriously, who wants to spend tons of time in a bathroom when surrounded by the beauty of the mountains?! The cabin itself was quaint and quite spacious, and I managed to have a perfectly enjoyable evening meal using the utensils and facilities available. The crockery was so clean that I was paranoid that I wouldn't clean it well enough! I did have dogs with me so brought plenty of our own bedding (they sneak onto the bed at night which is a no no at the cabins!) but the bed was clean and comfortable. Given the money we paid, I was very impressed and found it much more satisfying and value for money than some hotels we've stayed at. I really have nothing to complain about. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because perfection causes complacency - no matter how good something is, there are always ways to.improve :)

This is a terrible place to stay. We checked into our cabin and right away noticed the foul old cigarette smell. Then the dirt. Everything was covered in a layer of dirty dust and there were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling everywhere. The freezer was full of ice, light bulbs were missing in the cabin, the metal tiny shower stall had holes in it and a note posted in the kitchen was sticky and dirty. The TV only showed a squished image and was sub par. We have never experienced anything like this in all of our travels. Do not stay here. This place needs a visit by the health inspector. P.S. We demanded our money back and headed to Canmore Inn and Suites who treated us very well ; it was a lovely place to stay.

I was very happy with my stay here. I have read a lot of negative reviews about this place. True, this is certainly not the most luxurious place that I've stayed. It is very rustic. But, it is also about half the price of everywhere else in Canmore. When you take that into consideration, it was actually great!

I shouldn’t even give any star but had no choice. People who believe in reviews before book here please believe me this is most horrible place I ever booked I booked for a night stay left in worst weather drive to Calgary and pay another hotel. No refund no service. Worst staff did not listen. Don’t even wanted to know why I’m leaving. This guys do not deserve any guests to stay there. Most out dated place and Dog hair, spider webs all over in cabin. My wife start itching because of the dirty and dog hairs on the bed. People if you want skin disease then book here. Also if you wanted to live no refunds for sure. What a highway robbery.
