Service & location were extraordinary!! Cleanliness not so much... found two bugs (one on the bed & one on the wall). With that being said, they addressed the situation very well. Also, there was hair in the shower... housekeeping could be better.

Just a one night stay for a concert at Scotia bank Centre. 2 minute walk from the subway, location couldn't have been better. Staff was incredibly kind and attentive. Rooms were small but not unexpected for a downtown hotel. Fridge was a nice surprise, room clean and I slept very well. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again or recommend.

You're not in the hub of downtown but you have access to multiple forms of public transportation right outside the hotel door. Rooms are fairly small but to be expected in larger cities. Restaurant on site offers a wide variety as well as good food. It's pretty pricey. There's also a Starbucks in house and gift shop. They offer a great deal for large meetings and community halls or rooms however I'm not sure where anybody would park. There is indoor garage parking. it's safe & enclosed but is often full. The parking may be challenging to find. you need to make sure that you enter the Holiday inn parking, in the back of the building because there is private parking mere feet/meters from official hotel parking, and they will be sure to fine you if you make that mistake. Staff are incredibly friendly for such a busy hotel. Front desk have mentioned to me there's an overflow parking area but it wasn't mentioned prior to getting locked into a private garage. It is certainly something they should mention while checking in and not when you're trying to get your car out of hock. Elevators are painfully slow. There are four elevator cars and yet it feels like you have maybe one. part of the slowness is due to being a busy hotel with a ton of floors but most of the issue is due to the cars just being slow. This alone should deter you from asking for a high floor. Room was somewhat comfortable, bed okay but noting to write home about. The cost was quite expensive but I believe there was a game going on and most of the hotels were filled up. Everyone gets a bottle of water but I don't think you're recognized as a platinum member other than thank you which is fine of course but better when you get snacks or more water. Hotel is suitable, you're going to pay way more than it's worth because of its location but possibly less than you would with the upscale hotels in area. Plan ahead for better prices and parking.

The person at the check in desk took enjoyment at turning us away when we didn't have s credit card. We offered to give $1000 security deposit but still no go. Fortunately, we went to the Chelsea Hotel where we were accommodated excellently and where we plan to stay whenever in Toronto.

The hotel is located in an excellent part of Toronto. The hotel has a Starbucks right out front which is very convenient. The hotel is steps away from the subway which means that it's super accessible. The rooms are not the most updated but the bed is very comfortable.
