My husband lost a job a few years back due to a company shutdown. He decided to once again obtain employment through a temp service as it has always led to full time and permanent work in the past. Within a few days, he was placed with a company with whom he has been ever since. He was paid a fair wage from the start, and was only classified as a "temp" for three months as promised. He got hired on full time into a great job with health and dental benefits, matching RRSP's, paid time off, annual raises that are big enough to notice and a nice yearly bonus right before Christmas. Not all temp services are created equally and I am aware that some can be quite exploitative, but our own experience with Staff Plus was quite the opposite. Thanks again.
