Can't believe Samantha Baker still works here. When I worked there, she was a huge bully and I have never been treated worse in my life than by this person. She was so rude and insecure and she always took out her insecurities on others that were in lesser positions than she was. (she treated placement students and relief staff really badly) She treated me terribly and went out of her way to make me feel totally unwanted. There were many times where I had terrible anxiety about coming to work because she was quite frankly, really scary to work with at times. She was one of the most rude and insecure people I had ever met and she took out her insecurities on me on many occasions. For example, I'm someone who works really hard at staying fit and eating right. Samantha was so insecure about her own appearance and herself in general, that she would constantly try and make me feel bad about staying fit and would mock me for it. She accused me of starving myself and making myself throw up to stay fit which was a horrible lie and incredibly hurtful. Samantha also went to management and accused me of having a disability. She tried to make me think I had autism or aspergers syndrome. As you can imagine, that was an incredibly hurtful experience as well. Overall, Samantha was abusive, rude, arrogant and cocky and I saw her treat others badly as well. Management loved her though sadly because she would always behave differently when they were around and I was too afraid to speak up or say anything which is my biggest regret. She made me feel like a failure and a complete loser because of her bullying. I'm happy to say I'm away from her now and I'm now working at another agency where I'm doing very well. I'm proud to say I'm not the "failure" Samantha tried to say I was. The fact that JHSD continues to employ this person says alot about this agency.

This place has a number of services, however, in terms of helping one find a new place to live, or, a job, or, career, they are short on delivery. They will fill your sails with hope, then blow you out the door before one realizes absolutely nothing has happened, nor, is ever likely to. If I had a career like this I could afford a better place to live. Where do I sign up?

For a person who needs a community public service, this is where you want to go if you need resources and personal help. The atmosphere is relaxing and the workers are really there to help you achieve what it is you are looking for.

JHS is good place but the absence of being able to use a telephone for job purposes or housing purposes is not cool or smart and also the inability to make apts the walk in thing doesn't work when its always busy or full
