Horrible experience

My family has come to this office for years, spending thousands of dollars. I brought a litter of 3 puppies to have a exam and get their first shots. They mom is a patient as well, however I paid $54 a puppy to get a shot and deworming. It’s now time for the second shot and I was told it will be $74 this time. I asked why? The manager told me because the other doctor I seen is retiring and I will not see him. She stated a new doctor is there and that they will be charged another exam and because this doctor charges more money. I have called 5 other vets and was quoted $30 per pup. They are price gouging and the care I received the first visit was not the best. They told me a puppy was sick only by looking at him. Didn’t tell me why they thought he was sick. Yet, they want $70 a puppy and then when I told them how I felt the manager tried offering me the same price of $54 to be seen today. I canceled my appointment and will go somewhere professional and knowledgeable. I just want my babies to be healthy. This place is about money not these family pets that we love as our family.

Got me in with a next day appointment, and we're incredibly caring and loved my pup. The girl who went in with us was very knowledgeable and asked a variety of questions to make sure my dog was getting what she needed, they answered all my questions and concerns. Dr was great with my dog and prices were great, not the first time we have come here but I'm glad to know the care hasn't changed over the years. Great job A W!!

The greatest place anyone can possibly choose for their pet. I had an emergency with my cat and they took me in ASAP while every other place was 2+ hours. AMAZING AMAZING staff, especially Liza and Jennifer!!!! The doc was amazing and took great care of my cat. I wish I can give more than 5 stars, they are just that amazing

I brought my dog in with an issue, no appointment, we've bever been here before. The ladies at the front desk were polite and inviting helping put me on a wait list and fond a room as quick as possible. The vet techs and vet were very nice and helped my pup quickly and safely. The test and visit prices were reasonable too. Overall a great experience with a downriver animal hospital. I would highly recommend them for you pets!

Very caring for the animals and it showed in the care my fur baby revieved. Had to have her claws removed, they did an excellent job. Thank you for the excellent care you guys took of my baby. I recommend AW ANIMAL HOSPITAL to those in need. Just Don't Go to Dix Animal Hospital...see my review for them.
