A very spectacular site, worth the trip (not so far from Moncton anyway)! It's a delight for the eyes with many points of view from above (to have the big picture) and from the beach and ocean floor. It's also a delight for the ears, the tidal changes (especially from low to high) being very loud. You got to take your time though and maybe come twice to fully appreciate all of it, cause it's as beautiful on low, high or mid-tide, and the activities will differ (kayak, beach walking, mud bath, etc.)

I haven't been to the Hopewell rocks since I was a child, and of course, it is far from the tourist season here in New Brunswick. However, because of the poor weather, the cape was completely ours. We arrived at low tide, and it was already starting to come in. We're not familiar with the tides so we didn't want to mess around with potentially being stuck, but it was truly a beautiful and humbling experience. Having the beach to ourselves felt like a wonderful beautiful way to commemorate my late grandmother.

Beautiful place. The passes are good for 2 days. Going to both low and high tides is a must just to see how dramatic the tides are. You really do believe they are the highest in the world after this experience.

We went to New Brunswick the first week of May for my daughter’s tournament. late in the afternoon of the at day we decided to go and visit the Hopewell Rocks, the main road was closed, and we had to make a detour through a dirt road, to get their. The park was closed as we were a week early for the season, but a sign said enter at your own risk. The parking is huge and signs all over, even the park is closed, the trails are well marked and well maintained. We were so glad to enter eave tough the park is closed we had access to everything, the sights were amazing, and the view is terrific from above. It was low tide, and we were able to walk the ocean floor it was well worth the trip

A must see if you are passing through New Brunswick or live there and have folks visiting. Fair admission, and large parking lots. Interpretive center, beautiful giftshop, washrooms, playground, canteen and restaurant. Short trail to stunning lookouts and a longer trail down to the picturesque rocks. There are long but wide stairs to the beach where you can spend hours exploring. The park is full of staff, guides and interpreters excited to share stories and answers questions. A place to wash your shoes if necessary when you come up from the beach and a shuttle service runs from the entrance to the beach which many people use when they head back from the beach. Small fee for the shuttle. Clean, well kept park. A day well spent.
