The customer service at this marina is extremely disappointing. The attitude from the staff makes it feel like simply speaking to them is a burden. Almost every interaction leaves you feeling like you're inconveniencing them just by asking a question or looking for help. Instead of trying to work with customers to solve problems, the staff are often unhelpful and quick to offer excuses rather than solutions. When you rely on a marina for service and support, that's the last thing you expect. Based on our experience, we will also be letting our friends know about our experience and recommending they look elsewhere for their marina services. Unfortunately, we can no longer recommend this marina.

Very Disappointed Service and Treatment

McGregor on the Water used to have great customer service, but it's gone downhill over the last few years. Any time you have a problem, they either can't help or don't seem interested in finding a solution. Our Sea-Doo is taking on water and won't start, and we were told they don't have a Sea-Doo technician anymore. They also said they can't even pull it out of the water for us if we get it there... incredibly frustrating when you're dealing with an urgent issue. Unfortunately, they're the closest marina to us, which makes the situation even more frustrating. If there were another marina nearby, we'd be taking our business there instead. Very disappointing compared to the service they used to provide.

This week is we picked up our Avalon pontoon rear fishing boat from McGregor on the Water and couldn’t be happier with the experience! Morgan was fantastic to deal with from start to finish. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and always quick to answer any questions we had along the way. Morgan and the team were incredibly accommodating, even met us halfway for pickup (as we are located 10 hour away), which we truly appreciated. The boat itself is amazing and we are absolutely loving every minute on the water. A special thank you as well for the thoughtful bottle of Champagne. Which we enjoyed on the boats maiden voyage. Highly recommend Morgan and the team at McGregor on the Water for their excellent customer service and genuine care for their customers.

I’ve been bringing my boats here for service and repairs for over a decade. Throughout the years, I’ve encountered a few different faces in the service department, but they’ve all been incredibly helpful and easy to work with. Recently, I had my son’s fishing boat serviced, and I was amazed by how quickly it was done. I’m so happy and fortunate to have such a great marina conveniently close to the cottage.

I recently bought a used boat from McGregor. I took a while because it is a big purchase for me and I was checking my options. I worked with Hez through the process. He was great to deal with. Friendly, polite and demonstrated that he appreciated the business. Good early indications in a working relationship.

Worked with Hez on the purchase of our 2014 Lowe SF214. Great experience all around. The boat was well prepared, water test was a breeze, they had all the manuals and serviced the boat + trailer well. Took the boat out on the lake for 7 days and performed like it was brand new. Reasonable on their negotiations and had everything I needed at pick up.
