So pleased we have a Y in our area. All the staff are very helpful and friendly, the facilities are modern, well equipped and clean. They offer a program called "coach approach" where an educated staff member assists the member in building and modifying a routine to suit your lifestyle and schedule. I would like to single out our coach, Roxanne, who not only is knowledgeable and engaged when guiding with new exercises, she went over and above by coming in on her weekend to accommodate our (my wife and i) schedule. The best part is the gym, workout rooms, basketball court, swimming pool and many many classes are all included in your membership. Keep up the great work.

A nice looking facility from both inside and outside. A spacious parking lot guarantees a spot every time. The staff is always happy, helpful and welcoming. Price for the membership is fair (includes both the gym and swimming area) and nobody is trying to trick you when signing to it. The locker rooms are always clean and have lots of lockers. Some operate with a toonie and some with the membership card. Lots of toilets and a couple showers. The gym is spacious and has all the necessary equipment, including many treadmills and spinning bikes. Enough space to work out even during busy hours. There is also a smaller spot with lighter weights. The swimming pool area is adequate, one deep pool with a springboard, one actual race pool, a child pool including some toys and a hot tub. There is also a small sauna but only for adults. Family friendly place that's definitely worth a visit, I recommend trying the hot tub after a workout!

Went there to participate in the healthy hips and knees program, showed up early as was requested.. I was given a very short assessment and told to leave and come back the following week with the exercises given to me by the physiotherapist... I left and returned the following week (end of the free membership) And was told the exercises were "post op exercises " and I could walk all I wanted.... I didn't feel it would be worth the price of a membership to walk around a facility.. and was given no other choice or direction. This program was recommended by Interior health... I see no value whatsoever in the "program" ...it just seems to be a money grab and am quite surprised that the province would recommend such a waste of time...
