The A.R.T. is an award-winning theater and the most prominent in the greater Boston area for its plays. As it is housed on the campus of Harvard University and as it cooperates with the university on projects, the scope of the program is diverse and of a high caliber. The A.R.T. is a not-for-profit organization, so tickets are accessible to larger community, unlike Broadway. Despite this, the theater does bring in some "big names" and is in some ways a testing ground for Broadway. An adaption of _Porgy and Bess_ debuted here in 2011 before opening on Broadway in 2012, for example. In summary, it is a treasure for the community and we are fortunate to have it in our midst.

I’m a bus driver that brought down a bus load of kids to watch the show at your theater. I parked my bus within a 100 feet from the entrance. I went in to use your restroom and was told it wasn’t open to the public”. So I asked the woman, “when the show starts and my group is in the building can I use the restroom. I was told, “ it was for patrons only.” Are you serious. I brought a group of kids on a bus to the theater and I’m not even considered a patron. I would of loved to see the show, but I’m obligated to keep an eye on the bus, and I park near where I’m at to be close to a bathroom. I heard the show was excellent considering I deal and see this situation everyday.

The theater is beautiful and we really enjoyed the performance, Jagged Little Pill. There is no bad seat in the house and we were nearly in the last row. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I was taken by surprise with the gender neutral restrooms since I didn't read the sign and just followed women in. Honestly, I felt uncomfortable sharing the restroom with men. Thank you for asking me for feedback.

My girlfriend, brother and I went to see your Donkey Show this past Saturday, October 7. We thought we were going to see a play, imagine our surprise when we walked in to a club-like scene with glitterboys and a dj blasting dance music (guilty of not reading the show's description). We quickly adjusted to the environment, grabbed drinks and joined the throbbing crowd. We were having a great time as the interpretative Midsummer's Night Dream began to play out around us. Up until the "donkey" came out. We watched in disgust as the ass's face and hand/arm expressions mocked those of a stereotypical mentally challenged person. Aghast, we looked on as the actor (seemingly) unabashedly, even pridefully, repeated the mannerisms multiple before we quickly left the show. Mocking others is not a form of entertainment. There is absolutely no excuse for ableism, as a venue and show who seeks to be inclusive (very supportive environment for LGBT+), you should take immediate action to rectify the situation. Edit (for clarification): When I say "rectify," I'm speaking of changing the part of the show where you mock people with disabilities
