Amazing product, amazing people!! More than worth the drive from Denver. Reasonably priced.

Sears Trostel has a great selection and great Owners/Staff that will go the extra mile to help. I find myself there at least twice a week. See you there!

I am sure that if you are in the trade you would love this place but as someone who needs help and expertise I could not be more disappointed. As a former retail store manager for over a decade I refuse to leave poor reviews but this place leaves me no choice. To begin with you need to ask for help, I have only been greeted one time when entering the store. On a Saturday my wife and I sat waiting for over 15 minutes for help thinking that all of the guys sitting at the computers must be super busy due to the fact that their heads were buried in the screens and they did not offer so much as a hello. Then I realized that all but one of the four were just jerking around watching videos and what not. When I did finally get someone he was less than enthused to help and was far less than helpful. We have been looking for certain types of trim that our carpenter used and have had 0 luck and this day was no different. Today I went back and gave him the exact dimensions of corner molding that I needed and he rang me up and once I signed the receipt he did not say a word. I asked if I was supposed to go back and get it myself and he simply replied, "yep". I went to the back and someone did greet me, I showed him the ticket and he said, "oh yeah it is up on the top level, I think over there" as he pointed to the entire upper level. I went up and if it were not for my retail experience in knowing what a sku was I would have been completely lost. When I went back up to ask if he had what I asked for he just stared at me and said he didn't know. I asked if what I was looking for was common and he said he didn't know. I asked for my money back, which he did in silence, and I asked one more time if he thought it was custom or not and he said, "you need to ask your carpenter". This incident is fresh but this is status quo. Nobody explains to you how the warehouse works and that it is a pull it yourself, nobody wants to help unless you are a regular. I will say the older guy in the glasses has a great personality but he is never the one who is at the front desk because he is always keeping busy.
