A brilliant choice for a serene and quiet get away. Beautiful and well maintained place with a unique collection of artistic items and a great little library for the guests. Audrey and Bogey are amazing hosts!

My wife and I had a wonderful weekend here with our hosts Bogey and Audrey. The whole place is a nice getaway from the city, with lots of places to enjoy outside, from the pond and hiking trail out back which backs on to the Kawartha Highlands, it's a lovely nature spot. Inside is a very spacious but cozy cottage, decorated and well maintained, it was a treat to see all the unique pieces meticulous displayed. Our room was lovely, with a large comfy king bed, and a small balcony to set and watch the wildlife outside at our leisure. Breakfast was delightful, getting to sit and chat with Bogey, as we watched the many birds come and go. We look forward to visiting again in the near future!

We stayed here in July 2018 and it was really very nice. Although there was no air conditioning and the outdoor temperature was very hot during the day, our room o with its attached screened porch was very comfortable. Audrey and Bogie are terrific innkeepers and so interesting to chat with. Audrey's breakfast was fantastic! It was by far our best B and B breakfast after many, many years staying at B and B's. The grounds are beautiful with its wetland and all. We also enjoyed going into town and eating Kawartha ice cram at "Marilou's." We would definitely return to this B and B!
