Wonderful place, tries their best to rescue as many animals as possible, not enough recognition. It disgusts me that when I look at reviews for this place you get people complain about not being recognized for donating or how their animal was sick upon further inspection You're donating to help the animals, if you really need someone to kiss your butt for donating, you're 1000000% doing it wrong. You're donating for these animals to live a better life with better quality litter, better quality food, toys, beds, etc. NOT FOR THE HUMANS THERE. This place IS underfunded, but there is nothing that can be done unless you adopt more, pay the fee to help upkeep when you adopt, donate, and stop recommending that people go to a breeder instead! These animals need help!

About 2 weeks ago I had adopted a cat. A week later the London humane society calls and says the store I had adopted her through was the wrong kitten and I had actually gotten her brother. Long story short we got the papers worked out so they can make sure my cat is safe and healthy, charged me nothing for the process. And noticed my cat had a cold and gave me wet food that might help him out. Amazing service.

I appreciate that the animals are well cared for. Homes are carefully selected so these furry friends have the best chance of finding a suitable and permanent forever home.

Very pleasant staff. Appreciative of any donations of supplies. We adopted 2 beautiful cats several years ago. Will always go there to get a loving pet

Unfortunately, today was the last day I will make a donation to the London Humane Society. I have donated money, supplies and pet food MANY times over the years and each time no one even acknowledges me. I walk in with bags of donations and set them on the floor and any employees at the front desk simply ignore me. When I mention that I’m dropping off a donation the response is always “ok”. Don’t get me wrong, I certainly don’t expect a standing ovation but a simple acknowledgment and “thank you” goes a long way for an organization that relies on community support and donations. Sadly, I will never step foot in the London Humane Society again and will donate to other animal rescue organizations that will appreciate the support.
