I am so thrilled to have Basia as our groomer. We have been taking our dog, Pecan there since she was a puppy. When Pecan went for her first groom she was very dramatic! Basia was so patient and ensured that her grooming was a positive experience. We recently rescued a puppy who is a bit nervous about new experiences. We booked and appointment with Basia and of course, she was so patient. Our puppy was stressed during the visit but Basia managed to make the experience positive and help her through her first grooming. Although aesthetics are the last thing we care about, our dogs always look to great : ). Thanks so much to the staff for always ensuring that we are able to book our preferred groomer and for advising us on products. Always a great experience at Masters and Dogs.

My most recent visit to this business changed my previous perception on Masters n Dogs. I had an excellent associate who provided relevant knowledge and tips. Many of my neighbours have brought their pet there for grooming and the results have been great. Prices are a little high which is pretty par for the course in Westboro.

I regularly take my dog in for nail clipping, and rarely have to wait. The groomer takes good care of my dog. I also buy my dog's food and many of her supplies at Masters N Dogs. They have good quality goods and products for dogs and cats, and provide helpful advice regarding options. They have always been happy to special order anything I have needed, and goods have been available in-store quickly thereafter.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE HERE!!! NEVER BRING YOUR DOG FOR A GROOM!! I came in for a consult as my dog has long hair that can get a little matted and I wanted to make sure that they were comfortable taking the time to de-mat rather than shave him down (he is a long haired dog and is not supposed to have short hair). The groomer looked at his coat and agreed that it would be okay to not shave his back but she wouldn't feel comfortable dematting his stomach and neck so she would suggest shaving that area - which I was okay with. I made an appointment and brought my dog in and explained this to the groomer who was on that day. AFTER bathing him she called me and said that the only option was to shave everything - I said that I did not want this and that I told to just blow dry him, trim his nails, brush teeth, etc but NOT TO SHAVE HIM. I waited for them to call me back to pick him up and 4 hours later they called back and asked where I was? I explained that no one had called me to tell me he was ready but apparently I'm supposed to read their minds and know exactly when they would be finished with drying him, trimming his nails, etc. My dog waited 3-4 hours in a crate for no reason because of their lack of competence. To make things worse the person who called me, Caitlin, was completely rude and blamed this on me - as if I wanted to make my dog (who is very afraid of other dogs btw) wait. When I went to get my dog they didn't even tell me what had been done and they basically tossed him to me like he was garbage. I am so livid at the way they behaved, it is completely unacceptable to treat paying customers like this. NEVER BRING YOUR DOG HERE!!! I am literally in tears as I write this because of the way he was treated. If I could give zero stars I would but it won't let me post without a rating.

Great selection of treats, and the staff are always very friendly and helpful.
