$7 ADMISSION to the Conservation Area. Love taking the pup for a walk here. Beautiful time of year fall and nice and quiet. Sitting areas, trails, picnic areas and camp ground. The ruins are my favorite place to walk around, always nice and clean.

The ruins were fabulous. I saw one man resting in the shade of its walls and I thought he had the right idea. There is a very calming feeling here. If you can sit and stay for a while, you definitely get more out of this place. Portable washrooms with sanitizer here. A walk over a little bridge and falls will take you to two trails. There is no sign telling you this but the left trail goes quickly to some small caves and the other one goes somewhere else. A nice lady told me she took the trail to the right and spent an hour looking for the caves.

It’s beautiful! Having such building so close to home. Beautiful dam and lookouts around and knowing it’s as old as Canada was fascinating. I like to go there again with a greater focus on the building this time.

Not really much to see here. Maybe good for 5-10 minutes of waking and exploring, but don't plan your trip around it.

Unless you know the history, the ruins take about 30 min. Don't get me wrong they are awesome and beautiful and please don't pass it up! After the ruins check out the caves, definitely a fun filled day!
