Great educational and informative stop or jumping point for some interior camping. Picnic tables available if you brought your lunch. The museum is just two dollars for visitors or 1 dollar for children and offers great insight into the indigenous people's life, as well as metis and early days if the fur trade. Covering everything from local wildlife to archaeology of the area, this little museum packs in a lot into a small space. Information center and gift shop also on site.

Nice museum. Lots of history and accounts of early voyageurs. Has washrooms and small gift shop. Staff were friendly. Lots of sights to see and trails to explore. I would highly recommend visiting.

So beautiful! It was a little weird to find because the sign on the highway made it look like the exit was at a different spot but so worth taking the extra time to find.
