Went to the Grey Roots Museum with the family during our holidays and it didn't disappoint. We weren't sure what to expect and were happy after we spend 2+ hours walking through the indoor and outdoor museum. Admission was $40 for 3 adults and 2 seniors, so good price for the size. The indoor part has good exhibits and when we went it had the woolly mammoth exhibit. For the outdoor one you travel through history in the buildings/houses and was super cool. Start in the 1850 and end up in the 1920 and see the progression through history. The school teacher was awesome and super funny, really takes her craft seriously.

Great museum with some permanent exhibits and new/changing exhibits. Great for adults and kids with scavenger hint pages and activities as kids walk through. They also hold kids camps. Big outdoor exhibit- walking through various old time buildings and getting history from "locals." A great day trip at a reasonable price!

Fun place to take your kids. Enjoyed talking to the mechanic, sorry forgot his name.

Very informative. Well worth the admission fee (just under $10).
