We went for the maple syrup festival and had a great time. The kids were constantly entertained and it was a little educational as well. We had pan cakes there and they were tasty. The obstacle course for kids was fun and a little work out too. We will definitely go to the festival another time and will go back for a picnic in the future to get some fresh air.

🍁❤️🇨🇦 Anyone who didn’t rate it a 5 was probably expecting Disney. This is Canada. It’s about learning and taking pride in our history. It’s about doing something outside with the kids. It’s not about fancy rides. So put away the electronics and dress accordingly 🍁❤️🇨🇦

I didn't read the reviews before going. But I echo the same sentiments as others where the price is a bit overrated for what you get. There was a trail to walk thru with maybe 4 boothes set up. One hardly showed interests in the children while the other one about animal skin was quite well done. You get a free sample of syrup and free parking with online ticket purchase. Other than that everything is paid for. There was a grilled cheese station and a putinery food truck in addition to their small cafeteria.

VERY disappointed. Nothing much for kids to do except go through a maze and jump on a few bales of hay. Unfortunately, we arrived just as the horses were going for lunch so we weren’t able to go on the 5 minute wagon ride. It would be nice if there was at least a sample of the maple syrup for free.

I visited for the Maple Syrup festival and personal feel it is sooo overrated! It was overcrowded so there were lineups for everything. Walking through the forest and learning about Maple Syrup was okay but hard to take in any information because of so many people. Made the experience hard to enjoy. Walking trails are super muddy - wear rubber boots. Parking was again, overcrowded. Huge line ups for the washrooms which were muddy and unclean. Food was overpriced and not particularly delicious - combined with long wait times. If I'm honest, the experience felt like a waste of time and money. Would much rather hike somewhere more private and stop off at a general store and buy 100% real maple syrup on the way home. They don't have anything here that you can't get elsewhere. I could maybe see the appeal if you had little kids because that's mostly who was there - young families, but as a 20 something that attended with her boyfriend and their dog - we left disappointed.
