Absolutely beautiful hikes. Rock get super slippery makes the moderately ranked hikes pretty tough if rains. What you need to know though is you have to reserve parking in advanced because they only let a certain amount of cars in every 4 hours. So we got there at 12 and they were full. But from 1-5 they had an open time slot and we got in then..

We took our toddler to go through the visitor center and she absolutely loved it, as did we! It's a very unique, interactive center that is educational but also very interesting. The staff was very polite and helpful and the facility is very well kept ,nice and clean, and they often have different events going on. When we were there they had monarch butterfly events going on because of the migration.

Swam in the Grotto and Indian Head cove. Fantastic is all I can say. One of the most relaxing parts of my vacation even with the crowd which is managed by reserved parking. Best to reserve early to beat the overlap. Water is cold, but one gets used to it and Parks Canada have no control over that ;-)

It is so beautiful here! And I love that everything is all locally owned. I haven't seen a franchise yet, other than a grocery store. Be advised however, that you now need to reserve and pay for parking to the grotto ahead of time. You have a 4 hour time slot. I think this allows more people to be able to enjoy it. Be sure to check out the visitor centre in Tobermory, watch their 15 minute film, and climb the tower.

The center and the trails around them are a part of the *marine* national park (fathom five). So to do the trails there and to go into the center you have to pay, even though you paid for Bruce Peninsula national park. That didn't make much sense to me, but the center was well worth the $5.80. theres a little museum in the back that talks about the parks. Pretty cool!
