It would have been nice, but there was no sign or warning about the fire ants. And you go to sit down to have a picnic & realize your arms are burning it ruins the whole trip. Also transit there is a nightmare & I recommend u drive. A bus took us there but back they were all out of order until you got to the bus stop 30-40 min away walking. Also wish there was more direction because I feel like I didn't see the parts I wanted to go, overall though not too bad.

Clearly marked and we'll maintained trails. There is a trail for the visually impaired where one holds a guide rope around a short loop. It is the only part of the system that needs maintenance. A great idea with educational signs in text and Braille. But many of the signs are illegible or missing. Otherwise great place. Beautiful area. Informative signs along the trail detailing the areas special features.

Oh this place is fantastic. I spent 3 hours meandering about. So many bird species and chickadees will fly right up to you (bring seed!) What a beautiful way to spend an afternoon and learn about this lovely wetland.

Beautiful place. Make sure you walk to the lake through the park. Unbelievable sights at sunset. Bring sunflower seeds if you want to befriend the birds.

Last weekend I had a nice hike (about two and half hours) with my family in here. I parked my car at the GM lot and walked along the shore all the to the Darlington Provincial Park beside it. The trail was so quite and I barely saw other hikers. There were too much green seaweed in the water of Lake Ontario, but it did not brother me too much as I was not here for swimming. The ev charging station in the parking lot was not working that day, and I guess an employee or membership card was required for initiate the charging.
