We went to Midland area to spent a long weekend and found Wye Marsh to be a great place to go. We took guided canoe tour and it was an amazing experience. Imagine yourself on a boat, surrounded by the flowering water lilies - it is very rewarding and serene experience. We went with a friend and her 2 kids, who thoroughly enjoyed the paddling and were excited to see the swans and turtles. Great place for families as well.

Just went on the canoe by moonlight tour and it was fantastic!!! I highly recommend this tour. Jennifer and the other volunteers were absolutely amazing and so knowledgeable. If I could recommend one small change it would be to see the swans before the canoe ride as it was quiet dark by the time we got back, so we we were only really abil to see their silhouettes. Still it was a great time and we can’t wait to go back in the winter for snowshoeing :)

Has some great trails with some nice sights. You can buy some seeds for 25 cents to feed the birds and chipmunks with, and overall some nice trails. We also went to see the show with the birds of prey, which was very entertaining and the hosts were great. Good place if you want a nice walk and/or a nice show. (Please don't bring your kids if they aren't interested in this stuff, they will be annoying for others)

Beautiful wetlands... You can spend all day at the marsh and still not see it all.... They have a bee house and a centre for birds of prey....also REMEMBER YOUR CAMERA.... Lots to see and a lot of it is VERY good for photos....

I had a great experience. A nice little getaway to go with your partner. NOTE: Please don't bring your aggravating, naughty children that misbehave. The parents try to enlighten their children's enthusiasm by bringing them here. Little do they know that their kids aren't interested. In result, they become idle, running all over the place. IF you have children that are interested in Wildlife & beautiful scenery, then, this is the place. On a whole, it's a must see.
