Great spot for hiking. Trails range from easy to difficult. Grotto is a spelunking adventure. If you have children, bring them. They will love it! The water is blue, and Crystal Clear. You will be able to see through the water up to a depth of 65 feet. The shipwrecks are incredible to see. If you are a diver, there are over 27 shipwrecks that you can go and look at. Just go. It is a wonderful adventure through and through. 5 stars easily. I'd give more but I cannot.

Took the glass bottom boat to flowerpot island. Took about 45 minutes. It detours into big tub harbor where you see two sunken ships through crystal blue waters. At flowerpot island you can camp, hike trails, swim beautiful clear blue waters that are cold, and see the history of the lighthouse and family that lived there. The beach is rock shelf that leads into the water. Not sharp at all. Lots of black flies that bite. If you walk along the rocks, ( breaker wall that protects the boat dock) you can see a lot of snakes. We saw about 20. The speed boat back was direct and took about 20 min.

This is among the top 5 places to visit in Ontario. The scenic view, the drive, the lake, the cliffs, and simply mother nature. This is an oasis away from the city. The drive from Toronto was about 5 hours one way and if you wanted to have a romantic getaway this will definitely provide that for you. This is also a great opportunity for family getaways. Or just to spend time alone to bond with nature. This road trip was therapeutic to me and my loved one.

Very impressive scenery and landscapes. Boat tours are nice but a little pricey. The boats get you up close to the shores of flower pot island where you can see the rocky coastline and crystal clear beaches. Nearby Tobermory has great eateries with local whitefish fish and chips at reasonable prices. Definitely worth visiting.

Loved the flower pot island. It is magical! They just need a little convenience store for the summer season maybe. It'll help a lot. Make sure to bring snacks and water because there is nothing in there. The boat company will provide plastic bag for your garbage.
