A nice view over Dundas and Hamilton. Would be beautiful after the leaves change colour in the fall. We missed the colour change by about a week. It's an easy-moderate hike to the lookout, but it's popular and can be busy. Also be aware you need to take a shuttle bus from Christie Lake to get there on weekends.

Few waterfalls with nice view points. I've found plenty of beautiful colors among the trees as I visited it over an autumn day. A delightful scenery for taking pictures. Trails are not so long so children can enjoy hiking as well. The only drawback is lack of parking lot so we had to drive to the Christie Lake, then park there. Form that point there's a bus that gives you rides to both waterfalls and drop you off back to the parking lot. But the cherry on top was a local bakery shop at the Christie Lake next to the parking lot area where they had delicious, home made pies I have never tried before.

Minus 1 star for lack of parking on the weekends. It's privately owned, and they want you to park at Christie Lake and take their shuttle down from there. We parked a few blocks down from the entrance and ended up getting a $26 parking ticket for "parking on the boulevard." Admission is $5 a person. Very nice groomed trail, no city sounds except for the train. Not for small children if you're planning to actually hike, but ok if you're just going to the look out. Awesome views, saw the top of a bird of prey, because we were that high up. Lots of photographers out there. Bring lots of snacks and water and carry a backpack, you definitely don't want to be holding anything. The off beaten paths can be very technical. Can be a dangerous place to hike, some paths were closed off due to some rope rescues the previous years.

This area must really hate visitors. Close all parking lots and trails. Only one $10 open plus cost of shuttle. if you park anywhere else you will get big ticket. Nice planned day trip turn into disaster. After this adventures we decided to skip dinner and shopping and go home. Small businesses around must really like it. I will never visit this area again, never, ever again.

Beautiful place to visit. Breathtaking view. However, there were no place to park and most of us received parking tickets. Good job for the city of Hamilton. Not good memories, I will never visit that place.
