What a cool place. I will definitely return. I loved the trail along the lake.

Great fishing spot. Catch some nice pike in spring, and bass in the early summer. The trail here is nice and flat but pretty weak, although I haven't gone to the end, its a one way and turn around to get back to your car. Still, its peaceful and shady, so its good for a hot summer night.

Great place to watch bird migration

This Conservation Area has a picnic area, good parking, a small observation tower, and a trail leading to the beach along Lake St. Claire. The beach is not large - just a trail along the water but it is shaded and secluded - so peaceful with the water lapping at the shoreline. I have seen several people fishing off the shore as well.
