These photos were taken from the bottom of the falls which is not easy to get to. To get these pics I went over the metal bridge to the top of the falls and skirted around the edge of the drop until I found a steep slope with rocks and tree roots to hold on to. Children should avoid this area. I was on my own, so hesitated for a while, then said **** it and went over the edge anyway. However once down the slope it got a little easier. The effort and adrenaline was worth it. Not much rain for several days gave the falls a really nice look. There may be another way to the bottom, but this one I found. Be careful and make sure your friends and family know where you are. There was evidence of teen parties there, but unlike the UK they did their best to clean up. Well worth a visit if you are close by.

Really nice area, with lots of trails and side paths. We took one to the top of the falls and another that brought us to the base of the falls. The terrain wasn't too challenging. Our group included a 4, 6, and 8 year old. We spent a lot of time just enjoying the main trail, stopping to dip feet in the river and climb some trees. We didn't even complete there main trail, but had a great time and look forward to coming back to complete it.

It was few steps from parking lot. But you can see it from the top, no easy access to the down. So cannot enjoy much...

Great place for quick hike. Top of falls is easily accessible, it's a bit more tricky to rock hop down to the bottom.

Beautiful falls in the heart of Owen Sound. I hiked up to the falls through the Pottawatomie Conservation Area via the Memorial Side Trail. Steep, loose and uneven rocks near the waterfall, so watch your footing.
