A little kitch, way low on the touristy scale and laid back are my first descriptors. The ability to get there by boat and dock at the entrance to the Welland Canal was a cultural plus!

Nice park and good place to watch ships go by.

It's a nice walk and you get to see some cool boats go through the canal. They don't shovel the snow or clear the ice in the winter season

It is attached to port colbourn and economically is very important for Canada. Once a major defense city against the american uprisers now is a key port for ships transportation through Welland canal. But it is not a tourist attraction, maybe the roads and buildings and restaurants need a total renovation and medias should work more on this city to introduce it to rest of Canada and North America.
