This is a neat indoor famiky activity for rainy cottage days. There are interactive displays, videos and activities to do. Since 2001 the plant site has been fairly locked down and few have been able to see the plant up close. Withinthe past few years a bus tour of the site was introduced. The bus tour allows you to better understand the massive size the plant takes up as they tour you through the Bruce Power Site. This is a highly sought after activity when it rains in the area. I highly recommend paying attention to the weather so you can reserve the bus tour online ahead of time. If you don't reserve it's first come first serve and you more than likely with not get a spot. The tour and visitors center is best suited for school aged children.

Have some time to kill while you are on summer vacation? Visit the Bruce Nuclear Visitor Center. The interactive displays are fun and the kids actually learn about nuclear energy (I did too). The nuclear detector is great. And the whole thing is free.

What an fun educational day trip. We spent the afternoon at Bruce Power just north of Kincardine in Bruce County. This is where 30% of Ontario's energy is produced. My teenage son loved the visitors centre and all the displays. My mom and mother-in-law loved the bus tour where we saw Bruce A & B. I learned an awful lot about nuclear power and how it ties into producing energy for Ontario as well as produces medical isotopes. Worth a drive up from London.

Kids enjoyed it. The little info show was entertaining. I been to all the visitor centre of all the nuclear power plants in Ontario this I liked the most.

The visitor's centre was quite enjoyable. It had exhibits that would rival exhibits at Science North, and the Ontario Science Centre.
