Dr. Kassam

I went in to Akber Optical due to an eye infection and was given an appointment to see Dr. Kassam. He did a full eye exam and looked closely at my eye issue explaining it was not exactly an infection. He provided a natural remedy with an option for an antibiotic option. I chose the natural and he placed the script on my file in for the antibiotic in case it did not work and I could conveniently pick it up. The natural worked exactly as he explained. I was very impressed with Dr. Kassam and highly recommend him. The eye shop I have used before for glasses and repairs and it has a great selection with knowledgeable patient staff.

Fantastic service. I brought my mom’s glasses for repair. Harry was very willing to help and he didn’t even ask for money even though the glasses were not bought here. At the end, Harry didn’t ask for any money and said it’s only a screw. I know where to buy glasses next time.

I had stop going to this place they never seem to listen and rush the whole process and use all your insurance benefit money for cheap lenses that always scratch easy and really cheap frames.

My family and I have been going to see Dr. Kassam, Akber, and Theresa for a few years. We have always found the service to be courteous and friendly. The entire staff have always been patient with us when we have been asking numerous questions. Dr. Kassam was able to help me navigate through the early stages of my thyroid eye disease until I got to see the ophthalmologist. Great service!!

Rude customer service. Was made to feel rushed and as if I was an inconvenience for trying on frames. Would like to remind the staff that glasses are a very expensive purchase and are worn on the face, therefore it is important to take the time to pick the best option, and try on many before making that big decision. I would rather spend that amount of money elsewhere and not have to deal with the attitude.

When I visited this bias based company I was not asked if I needed help It was quite apparent that I was interested in doing business with them But after asking a simple question. I was not only snubbed but was treated with disrespect . I will not recommend these people to anyone especially my family. Customer service should come before the dollar goes into the bank treating people equally, fair, and respectfully is something that not found here at this store at any price.
