i'm locked into davis vision and i have limited options , so when my ear piece spring let go i went to vision works they told me i would have to buy a whole frame , i knew they could help me but refused , so i came here , at ROCHESTER OPTICAL, the optician went back to his bone pile and gave me two new ear / sides , they were not the n same as the rest of the glasses but he did a great job in matching what he had to my frame, and because i had a good attitude and was satisfied with his work , he crinkled up the bill and said "have a nice day" thanks for your craftsmanship and generosity scottie o tool handyman

People have some unrealistic expectations. I read these reviews before going and then decided to just try it out because it's convenient and right by my work. The staff are knowledgeable and were very nice. I did have a problem with my prescription but it was my former doctors fault and I have a really really high prescription, which my other place had a problem filling every time I went. They were really nice about it and helped me get a new prescription and had good prices compared to other shops in the area. The turn around time for my glasses was pretty quick and I am happy with them. I will definitely go back and bring my kids. Overall: Competent, good options for frames and lenses and nice people.

The service and staff has been excellent. It is easy to arrange an appointment and I'm generally seen without a long wait time. Very pleased
