given one star is generous! Do not go here horrible service and horrible etiquette. After going here because they have a nice selection of frames. I went for a contact lens exam and i wanted my glasses tightened and cleaned not to much to ask right?? WRONG after they damaged my lenses all I was told was that I signed a liability waver and they said they didn't cause the damage it was me! I asked to speak with the manger they claimed it was not one there that day. When I finally did catch up with a manger he replied it was nothing he could do.

I started having vision issues after getting lenses installed at Livernois location. I find out from getting a 2nd opinion that the prescription was installed wrong. They want me to pay for them to fix it because I didn’t notice that I was having vision issues until after a year or so had passed. I will never do business with this company and also recommend that you don’t either. Lenscrafters stand behind their product and has highly qualified professionals.

I had an excellent experience with Hertiage Optical. The staff is friendly, helpful and explained all of my options to me.

The receptionist scheduled me for an eye glass exam instead of a contact lens exam. Which I was unaware of because I explained to her that I had an opthomology appointment prior to me scheduling this appointment. The eye doctor gave me a prescription I didn't need told me to come back and pick up my trail pair of lenses "due to wearing contact lenses in the past", after my prescription was done. I called to complain and was told by the receptionist that she was informed by the doctor that I didn't have the funds to pay for the exam but we never discussed payment during my visit. I put in a complaint with the manager and was told that they would cover the fee to make it right "just call to come in and pick up the lenses but when I did it was a different story.

Me and my kids got eye exams for glasses. I made appointments for us, so there was no wait. Staff were courteous and attentive. They carried a decent selection of glasses. Quit a few where available with my insurance plan. The named brand glasses prices seemed higher than I’ve seen at other places. Overall would recommend.
