I felt I had to write a very deserving review about our 12 plus years experiences dealing with SML Entertainment in Red Deer and the close to 50K spent with them. It's a lengthy review so bare with me. When we first started dealing with them Don was the manager. My wife and I were making plans to renovate our old garage that was connected to our home into a family cave. We purchased a black Brunswick pool table because of the awesome deal but the room wasn't ready yet Don stored the table for 2 years in his warehouse until we were ready for delivery. When the room was finally finished it was time to fill it with other perfect party room items. Next came a retro 1950's Rockola 100 CD bubbler jukebox, a commercial grade popcorn popper on wheels and now the room was complete. We added lots of original nostalgic 50's memorabilia and the room was named 'The jukeroom' with the jukebox being the true highlight of the room. What a beautiful piece of furniture! Then a few years later we purchased a Beachcomber hot tub and a metal gazebo from them which their crew installed to perfection. About 5 years later Brian their technician called and asked how the hot tub was working as the warranty was about to run out and I told him one pump was making noise. He quickly came out and replaced the pump, no charge, not even milage! What other hot tub company would offer this service. When he came out I told him our jukebox was acting up and he removed the disc player and amplifier to have it repaired. Trying to diagnose the problem took a fair amount of time and Brian made 2 trips to diagnose and install the parts and still had issues, the parts were even sent to Rockola head quarters in California for them to look at it. By this time Brittany is now the manager and she was an angel to deal with, always voicing her genuine concerns to me that they were vigilant in getting the jukebox fixed so we could enjoy it again. She even sent out a tech from Calgary to see what he could do to fix it. Well here is the best part to this review. The other day I got a personal call from Tony Fisher from SML Calgary voicing his concerns and apologizing about the length of time it took to resolve the problem. We talked for a while and I asked him what his position was as I had always dealt with Brittany. He replied that he was the president of the company! I was absolutely floored that the president would take the time out of his busy day to give me a call. He ended up telling me that the whole experience that we went through was far too long and it was on them and there won't be a charge! What a stand up guy who genuinely cares about his customers that went above and beyond and has taken the praise customer service to a new level! I hope that anyone looking for a quality hot tub or many other beautiful party room add on's they stock, do not hesitate to make SML Entertainment their first stop, the staff are superb, knowledgeable and easy to deal with. If I could give 10 stars i certainly would. Here's wishing all involved a very Merry Christmas and a happy prosperous New Year, you certainly made it for us and we sincerely thank you!!
