My father was at Granite Ridge for the final years of his life, and the care he experienced was all we could have hoped for and more. Most importantly, he was happy! The staff is professional, caring, and just plain wonderful! My father has passed, and on occasion, I visit someone at Granite Ridge that I came to know while visiting Dad, and the care received by the residents is still top notch! Sincere thanks to all members of the staff- your tasks are many, but they are carried out with love and compassion.

The care and compassion offered at Granite Ridge for my father were beyond compare. They were patient with our families extensive questions and any concerns were addressed very quickly (ex. nurses would give us updates if he was feeling under the weather etc and we called to check in). The food was healthy and plentiful. During my father's 2 year stay they truly made us feel welcome. The compassion and caring they showed him in his final days were above and beyond and they not only cared for him respectfully they also made sure my mother and ourselves were also fed and attended to this difficult time. I can't thank them enough. Anyone considering a long term care home should feel at ease of a loved one living here. They truly do the best that they can.

My Grandma recently passed away at Granite Ridge retirement home. We were told not to worry about her belongings as they would be packed up for us. There seemed to be a lot of issues when it came time for someone to actually pack her things. If you have a loved one in this retirement residence who happens to pass please be aware if you do not give them an 'exact' detailed list of every item you would like of your dearly beloved, they will decide what to pack, what to toss & what to give away to someone else.

Not happy with the set up at all. My grandfather was to be moved in there yesterday (Wednesday, Aug 26). There was no care plan set up for him, no rails on the bed. No seating plan for him in the dining room. Was left in a wheel chair with no belt and he fell out and is now back in the hospital. The staff clearly weren't ready for him which is very unprofessional. They haven't even checked up on him while he's been in the hospital since last night.

The staff at Granite Ridge were kind and responsive in our questions and requests to see our father who moved in amidst the chaos of COVID. They went out of their way to do what they could to accommodate visits with our limited time in town. We’re grateful to the staff for all they do to keep the residents safe and for their continued care and diligence in watching out for them both emotionally and physically. Thank you!!
