Stay away! Nursing staff do not follow Doctor's orders on care. As a result my father now has gangrene and will have to have pieces of foot amputated. He had to be put in care because his multiple strokes left him unable to care for himself. Staff ignored my sister who pointed out sores. She had to seek outside medical help, and got a specialist's strict instructions on diagnosis and how to care for his sores. Nurses ignored the specialist. Sores turned into ulcers, into gangrene. He became depressed from the constant pain. The Ministry of Health and Long Term Care has just found them guilty of neglect after they did all their inspecting (too soon for report to be posted online). Sadly, their letter of apology to my sister will not bring back my father's soon-to-be-surgically-removed body parts. He walked in there on his own 2 feet, but soon won't have 2 feet, thanks to them.

They kill your loved ones. Stay away from this place. Don't trust them. My brother-in-law died after living there for only 5 weeks from neglect. He had an infection from pressure sores that they chose to do nothing about. The doctor and nurses said they were taking care of it but indeed they were not. He had gangrene set in and infection through out his body. Once he was rushed to the hospital there was nothing they could do, he passed away in less than 24 hours. So if you love your family member do not leave them at this home.
